On day 01, our team representative will meet you at Haridwar, from where we will drive to Badrinath via Joshimath. On reaching Badrinath, you can check into your hotel and rest for a while. By the evening, we will lead you towards Badrinath Dham for the Aarti, after which you can return to your hotel for a delicious, healthy dinner and an overnight stay.
On day 02 morning, visit the Badrinath temple after a holy dip in Tapt Kund. As you walk through the colourful entrance of the temple and have the darshan of Badrivishal along with lord Ganesh, Kubera, Garuda, Narada, Udhhav, Nar & Narayan.
You can also see other small temples inside the compound, such as Laxmi Mata, Nar-Narayana, Hanuman, Ghantakarna, and Kamdhenu. Inside the temple compound, you can also get ‘Charnamrit’ (abhishekam jal).
Near the Badrinath temple, there is Brahma Kapal, a significant place for pind daan & shraddh of ancestors (Pitrus); one can perform rites here. Later, a visit to Mana Village (India’s last village towards the Indo-Tibetan border) includes historical Vyas Gufa, Bhim Pul, Saraswati River, etc.
By the evening, we will leave for Srinagar for an overnight stay.
Joshimath is situated above the confluence of Alaknanda and Dhauliganga. It is among the four 'Maths' established by Adi Guru Shankaracharya. Among many ancient sacred temples and shrines near the Badrinath temple, Narsingh Narayan Temple is the most significant, denoting the effect of time on Badrinath through the left arm of the deity, which is eroding with time. It is believed that when this hand of lord Narsingh Narayan deity erodes, the Gods residing in Badrinath will ultimately shift to Bhavishya Badrinath in Niti Valley.
While on our way to Haridwar, we will visit Devprayag, the confluence of Alaknanda and Bhagirathi. From here onwards, the downstream river is called the Ganges. On reaching Haridwar, you can take a holy dip in the river Ganges, attend the enchanting evening aarti at Har-ki-Pauri, and visit Brahma Kund, where the heavenly nectar (Amrit) spilt out of the pitcher. From here, we will drop you off at Haridwar railway station or Dehradun Airport.
