It is advisable to avoid travel during this period due to heavy rainfall, which may lead to landslides and roadblocks.
Route of the Char Dham Yatra from Vadodara
There is no direct route from Vadodara to the Char Dham circuit. Pilgrims usually travel via Delhi or Dehradun. Most travelers prefer Delhi due to frequent flight connectivity from Vadodara.
From Delhi, the journey continues to Haridwar, followed by Barkot, and then to all four shrines—Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath, and Badrinath—before returning to Delhi and flying back to Vadodara. The complete journey covers approximately 3000 km and typically takes around 13 days.
